Our Founder
Nemean Capital was founded by Amit Lavi, a seasoned investment banker and private equity professional with over 15 years of experience advising and executing complex transactions across global markets. Amit has led numerous M&A and capital raising transactions within the lower middle market, with a focus on the Industrials, Real Estate, and Consumer sectors.
Before establishing Nemean Capital, Amit served as a senior member of the investment banking team at Hilco Global, where he specialized in M&A and capital financing solutions. Prior to Hilco, he was a Director at iintoo Investments, playing a pivotal role in the execution of nearly $1 billion in real estate transactions. His earlier experience includes his tenure at Avalon Net Worth, a boutique investment bank, where he advised lower middle market companies on strategic financial transactions.
Amit holds a B.A. in Finance and Economics from Queens College and an M.B.A. from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College. He is also a FINRA-registered representative, holding Series 79 and 63 licenses.
Amit is a veteran of the Israeli Defense Forces, where he served with distinction as a Staff Sergeant and was honorably discharged after completing three years of service.
